SPAR Yunnan celebrates the first SPAR store opening on 8 Feb.

 

SPAR Yunnan officially launches its first SPAR store in Anning City on February 8. SPAR Yunnan Chairman Li Jia, SPAR China Managing Director Jerome Chevrier and other honorable leaders and guests presented at the opening ceremony. This new supermarket covers an area of 6,000 sqm and offers over 15,000 products including fresh fruits and vegetables, snacks, non-food.

SPAR Anning store is fully renovated and upgraded from the old brand of our regional partner SPAR Yunnan after nearly 23 years of operations at Jinfang Mall, ideally situation close to local beautiful Baihua Park.  As the first SPAR branded chained supermarket in Yunnan, southwest China territory, SPAR China has provided extensive support to SPAR Yunnan Jinfang in the lead-up to the store opening including study tours to other SPAR regions and fostering awareness of the SPAR Way of Working. Support was also given in modern and dynamic store design. SPAR China began their partnership with SPAR Yunnan in April 2017, soft launching the first SPAR store at the end of 2017, and officially launching on February 8th 2018.

SPAR stores in Yunnan will be aimed at the mid- to premium- consumers who in pursuit of quality and lifestyle. Within this modern new SPAR store, it features snacks and beverages, fresh meat, beef, poultry, seafood, fresh produce, fruits, meals solutions and non-food sections to meet the needs of local shoppers. In addition, there are the best ready-to-eat sections and restaurants with a wide range of local specialties and mouth-watering gourmets.
