SPAR Guangdong’s From Farm to Store base in a small village

Tiantang, a small village in Shaoguan City in the far north of Guangdong Province, is renowned for the 400 hundred years of history of ginger planting. The ginger planting area in the village is about 2,500 mu and the yield is about 5,000 tons per year, which is the greatest source of income of local villagers. However, those good quality gingers cannot be sold on a large scale due to underdeveloped traffic and supply chains. Now SPAR Guangdong is working in partnership with local farmers to present the quality ginger from high latitudes at SPAR Guangdong supermarkets!
